May cameras seem to function normal. Notifications, live feeds, etc. but when I try to view history I can see the videos but it seems that when you click the video you want to watch. Sometimes it plays and then something it just sets on the video and spins. My subscription is current and on auto pay. Had these cameras and subscription for several years and it’s always worked good but has been doing this for several months and seems to be getting worse.

I am having the same problem. I can see the picture but when I click to watch it, it just shows the spinning like it is trying to connect. Anybody know what is causing this?

Hey there,
If you are having issues with your Nest Cam or Nest Doorbell, I would suggest that you first start by restarting it.
Restart: Keeps all your settings, and it should reconnect to the same Wi-Fi network. This is helpful if it ever becomes frozen, has trouble reconnecting to the internet, or isn't working normally.
Best regards,
Brad

Already did that. Restarted my routers and internet. Moved different internet still the same. Checked on different devices and devices on completely different internet. Still same thing is happening on all my cameras and door bell.

Do you use iOS or Android? I know that an iOS update is being rolled out right now which has a lot of bug fixes that have to do with connection issues our users are having. I would make sure that your app is available to update, but these updates are rolling out to users over the next few days. I hope that your issue is fixed as right now, I do not have a solution.

Brad

Yeah sir. Been a bit busy with work. But yes I am still experiencing the same issue. With my cams. Sometimes they load great and sometimes they just set and spin. Sometimes on live feed and sometimes on history. I am on iOS. It is all up to date. All systems have been restarted and does the same thing in either of my internet connections.

Are you an iOS user? If so, there should have been an update to the Nest App that was supposed to fix this issue. Manually update your device and then restart it.
Best regards,
Brad

I feel like you didn’t read the last post. Every quest you had was in it. But hear goes again. Yes I am on i0S. It and all my apps are up to date. FYI it does it when logging in on my laptop over a browser as well.

Yes I have an active subscription

Good! I am glad to know that you have an active Nest Aware subscription. Do you have a 2021 Nest Cam (battery) or the Nest Doorbell (battery)? If so, they do not work like the older cams, as they do not offer the option to download clips of any piece of live view. You can only download and view clips of events. If it does not see an event, you won't see that history unless there is an event for that time.

I have the drop cams and wired doorbell

Dropcam's are tough, because they are not made anymore, their support is pretty low priority. I know that they will not work with the Google Home App, and I can see them having issues with Nest Aware as they are far too old. I think you need to have had an original Nest Aware plan for them to work well. Not sure what to tell you besides I suggest you contact Support and work with them from now on one this issue.

Brad
