Our Nest account was cancelled in error so we had to open a whole new account. Our nest aware went with our original account. We now have a trial but will need to start paying when the trial is over.

I am afraid that there is no such option to transfer services. You will need to cancel the plan, and subscribe again on the correct email/account that is associated with your devices.
