I cannot view my history

I've read through all the forums: when I log in, I can't see an option to view history. Only clips that have been downloaded. My subscription is up-to-date. There are some very important clips I need to download, so time is of the eseence. I've tried both through nest, and Google home, on my PC.

If you have the older cameras and doorbells that work in the Google Nest app, you can view history in the Google Nest app with the instructions below. You can also view history on the home.nest.com website.

If you have the newer cameras and doorbells that work ONLY in the Google Home app, you can view history in the Google Home app with the instructions below:

If you are not seeing your history, are you logging onto the same Google Account and accessing the same Google Nest "home/structure" as shown for your subscription here?

You can also check your subscription by going to Settings | Nest Aware in the Google Nest app or Google Home app.

I have checked the settings, and my subscription status. In Google Home (for my newest cameras) I have no option for history. See screenshot

I see that you're using the "PREVIEW" version of the Google Home app. I wonder if that version is broken. In our iOS version (NOT the "PREVIEW" version), there's a Settings icon (a gear) in the upper right corner. Is one of your icons in the upper right corner a "Setttings" icon? If so, can you select it and then select Video and then Video History to see what subscription is shown for the camera?  If not, then I don't know what's going on.

No, the settings wheel isn't showing for me anymore; I noticed the preview too, and can't find a way to NOT be in that

If you go to Settings and select Public Preview under "General", there's supposed to be a "Leave Public Preview" option. I don't know whether you leave immediately or have to wait.

I thought your screen shot was from the Android version of the "preview" version of the Google Home app, when in fact it is from the list view on the "preview" website, home.google.com, accessed from your computer using your browser. On home.google.com, you cannot view history. For that, you have to use the Google Home app on your phone or mobile device.

Android here so no help with the iphone. But is that screen shot from a desk top pc or your iphone? You only get live view from Google Home from a desktop. Using your phone you get all the options on Google Home.
