Is Nest Aware Plus Discontinued?

Help refers to "Nest Aware Plus" that offers 60 day event and 10 day continuous recording.  But no where can I find where to upgrade my subscription to it.  Nor can I find any announcement that it was discontinued.  What's up with that?

It's not discontinued.  We have had a Nest Aware Plus subscription since 2020.

Go to the Subscription Management page:  https://store.google.com/subscriptions

Click on your subscription.

Click on the "More" icon (the 3 vertical dots).

Click on "Change your plan".

There is no "More" icon for me on my phone.  And if I visit from the laptop, the subscriptions list is empty, which I know isn't true since I have three.  Maybe something's screwed up right now?

I can find my subscriptions through play.google.com, but there's no selection to upgrade there.

I'm guessing then that you have the old 1st gen Nest Aware subscriptions, which are per-camera. The 2nd gen Nest Aware and Nest Aware Plus subscriptions, which have been available since 2019, cover ALL Google Nest cameras and doorbells in the same Google Nest "home/structure".

You have to have migrated your Nest Account to a Google Account in order to get a 2nd gen Nest Aware or Nest Aware Plus subscription. See this page for FAQs about migration:

There is no way to "upgrade" a 1st gen Nest Aware subscription to a 2nd gen Nest Aware subscription. You have to cancel your 1st gen subscription (you'll get a pro-rated refund if you're on an annual subscription) and then purchase a 2nd gen subscription:

No. I have the $80/yr Nest Aware. And it's a brand new subscription since I had let my 1st gen subscription lapse like a year ago and did the new one when I got the new cameras. Guess I'll have to call support.

When you visit the Subscription Management page (https://store.google.com/subscriptions) from your laptop, are you logged into Google on your browser with the same Google Account you use to log into the Google Home app?

You mentioned that you can find your subscription on play.google.com. I've never done anything on that site, but our Nest Aware Plus subscription, which we've had since 2020, does not appear there. Perhaps things are different if you buy your subscription through Google Play.

Do you have a non-migrated legacy Nest account or do you have a migrated Google account? I believe that if you have not yet migrated your account, those subscription options are not available until you do.
