Got an email today purportedly from the 'Nest Store' saying in its heading, Your subscription payment didn’t go through. The message was again repeated in the body in the approximate color as were the subsequent underlined portions.
Your subscription payment didn’t go through.
It further read:
There may be a problem with your payment. Check to make sure your billing info is correct. You can update your billing information here.
If we don’t receive your payment, we’ll have to cancel your Nest Aware subscription(s) and you’ll lose your video history.
To keep your subscription(s), please update your payment information.
If you have any questions or need help, contact Nest Support.

How odd since my credit card is active, my account information was correct, my monthly payment was already posted, and my renewal date isn’t until 2023! Seems like either a phishing email or the other hand doesn't know what the other is doing!
It would help to speak with someone from 'Nest' if they provided a contact telephone number but they doesn't make it easy. And I'll never click on a suspicious email when I can go directly to a website for verification and in my case, all was in order.

You could try using the "Contact us" link under "Nest Aware Premier Care" on the Google Nest Help page below to "Get 24/7 access to Nest Aware Experts on the Nest Customer Care team. They’re available to answer questions, help you access features, and manage your subscription."

A lot has changed since I first got my Nest Outdoor camera in 2017, long before Google stepped in. And after wading through the Contact Us support page, I was finally able to locate the hotline number for Google/Nest (1-855-469-6378) which is all I needed. Thus, issue resolved . . .
