Migrating Nest Cam Voided Original Aware Subscription Amount

I had purchased Nest Aware subscription back in 2019 for my indoor cam. Moving to a new home recently, I was prompted when I was starting the process to set it up that I needed to get authorization to delete the camera from the original home location before proceeding with the WiFi at the new home. I went ahead and did so, and set up the new cam without any issue. Upon wanting to confirm if my subscription was still in good standing over the phone, I was told that this subscription is no longer attached to this camera and that I needed to perform several different steps in order to keep the same subscription which I was not prompted to do. If I had known prior to set up this is what I needed to do I would have done so. Now I was told my only option is to start a new subscription at an extra cost of $30 a year. My original subscription is completely void, all do to a terrible set up process that doesn't make you aware of what deleting your original cam location will do. I got zero help over the phone. Just want my original price honoured.
