Migrating subscriptions between homes with existing account

I purchased service from nest and was in a Google home family. I wasn't the manager of that family so I created new home. How do I switch my service to my new Google home that I created from the one the cameras were originally added to?

I do not believe they will switch your subscription to a new home. I believe they view each "home" you set up as separate nonrefundable subscription according to their terms of service. I recommend opening a ticket. It will most likely need to be escalated. I had a situation where I was billed for two annual subscriptions on my same email. I believed it to be a mistake because I didn't understand how I could have two active subscriptions on the same account with only one email confirmation. I opened the ticket on 12/9. It has not been resolved and I have been referred multiple times that there are no refunds for nest services. Unfortunately you most likely will need a new subscription and make absolutely sure that the old one is cancelled so it does not auto renew on you. Best of luck!

Hey folks,

I am afraid we do not do transfers of services for Nest Aware. You will need to cancel your plan on your current Home, and restart the subscription on your new Home. I fully understand that this may be an inconvenience to you as you will lose your data and saved footage if you have no saved it. I hope this information helps to clear things up. In the meantime, here is an article on how to re-subscribe.

Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Best regards,

Brad.

It is also extremely clear in their TOS that after you cancel you will not receive a prorated refund. It's very frustrating.
