Nest Hub Stops Streaming "Camera Feed Not Available" after a few seconds!

The Google Nest Hub stops streaming IF I can even start streaming. Usually I have to press the camera I want to view 2+times to get it to turn on, then after a few seconds it will read "Camera Feed Not Available"!! So frustrating!! I have old Nest Cameras (from before Google take over) & can continually stream those on the Nest App. This Nest Hub is awful! Why can't I watch the cameras from my computer? Why did I have to purchase this defective Hub?? Often the Hub will show only the clock and I can't get to the Home Screen. I have to unplug it from the wall and restart the Hub to be able to access the Home Screen, then my camera shuts off after a few seconds??

One of your symptoms (able to see clock only) seems like it might be related to this acknowledged defect that Google Nest says it is working on: https://www.googlenestcommunity.com/t5/Speakers-and-Displays/Weather-data-on-2-Nest-Hub-fullscreen-c...

Hey there,

I am terribly sorry to hear that you're having this issue with your Nest camera! I'm sure it's frustrating but I'm happy to look into this and see how we can help out. The first troubleshooting step that I'd recommend would be to Restart your device. By doing this, it should keep all your settings, and reconnect it to the same Wi-Fi network. This is helpful if it ever freezes, has connection problems, or isn't working normally.

Best regards,
Brad

Hello- Still having the same issue. I restart the Nest Hub at least once/week and it still will not continuously stream. I've disconnected my cameras from WiFi & reconnected them to see if that helps. It does not help.

Have you had the chance to check out the thread that @MplsCustomer posted earlier? I believe this to be part of the same concern. Are all of your devices up to date on their software?

Best regards,

Brad

But the issue isn't resolved?? How do I view my Nest camera continuously? Yes, my devices are up to date.

Hey there,

Here is a great link on how Nest Aware works and how to subscribe, and here is a link on how to manage your subscription.

Ok, I have a Nest Aware subscription. I've always had a Nest Aware subscription. That is what is so frustrating. I'm paying for a service and not receiving the benefits when my Nest Hub drops the camera every few minutes. Please go back to running the Nest Cameras the way "Nest" ran their cameras.
