Nest aware camera

I have 2 nest hard wired cameras in my nest account (nest aware plus)

I have now installed a nest battery camera but I can’t get it up on my nest account , only in my Google home.
what am I doing wrong?

You aren't doing anything wrong. Google Nest decided that its new cameras and doorbells released starting later in 2021 would work ONLY in the Google Home App and NOT in the Google Nest app or on the home.nest.com website. However, Nest Aware Plus subscriptions do cover both old and new cameras, but we have to use 2 different apps.

A few weeks ago Google Nest put up a new website in "preview" or beta mode, home.google.com, where we can livestream our old and new cameras. More functionality may be coming; I don't know. They've also announced an upcoming upgrade to the Google Home app. Many are hoping it incorporates functionality from the Nest app but again I don't know:
