I have an active nest aware subscription which does not work for my doorbell but does work for three other cameras. Any suggestions?

If you have a 2nd gen Nest Aware subscription (available since 2019), it covers all Google Nest cameras and doorbells in the same Google Nest "home/structure".  Are your 3 cameras and your doorbell in the same Google Nest "home/structure" on the same Google Account?

On the other hand, if you have an older 1st gen Nest Aware subscription, it covers specific cameras and doorbells only.  If your cameras are all 1st gen cameras installed in the Google Nest app and your doorbell is a 2nd gen Google Nest Doorbell installed in the Google Home app, the 1st gen Nest Aware subscription will not cover 2nd gen cameras or doorbells.

I bought the Nest doorbell in 2021 and the cameras a year later, so they're pretty new and latest version. It was all working fine until I deleted the home address from the Home App and then deleted the doorbell from google nest to do a 'clean' setup to get rid of my two aliases in the Google Nest app (a known issue here).

I suspect it has to do with the second alias under which I have installed the door cam albeit they're both on the same account.

Later this week I will completely de-install Google Home and Nest from my iPhone and set it up clean to see if this helps to solve the issue.

I wrote another post on the alias issue: https://www.googlenestcommunity.com/t5/Cameras-and-Doorbells/Google-nest-has-two-aliases-for-same-ad...

I'm pretty sure they're linked.

I'm afraid I have no idea what you mean by having "two aliases in the Google Nest app" or how a "second alias appeared out of thin air". As far as I can tell, "alias" is not a term used in the Google Nest app or the Google Home app.

If you mean you have two Google Nest "homes/structures", a 2nd gen Nest Aware subscription applies to all of the cameras and doorbells in the SAME Google Nest "home/structure".

If you go to the Subscription Management page (https://store.google.com/subscriptions) and click on your Nest Aware subscription, the resulting screen includes the name of your Google Nest "home/structure".  (If you have a 1st gen Nest Aware subscription, I believe you can view it here: https://store.nest.com/account/subscriptions.)

I can't tell for sure whether you have a 1st gen or a 2nd gen doorbell. You said you purchased it in 2021, but the 2nd gen doorbell was launched in October 2022.

If you have a 1st gen Google Nest Hello Doorbell, which is installed in the Google Nest app, have you either migrated your Nest Account to a Google Account (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9297676), or were you already logging onto the Google Nest app with a Google Account using the "Sign in with Google" option?  (2nd gen cameras and doorbells get installed in the Google Home app.)

If you can't sort this out, you might consider contacting Support and walking through your situation with them:

1. Go to https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp.
2. Select a category/product family, and type in a brief description of the issue, then click "Next".
3. Click "Other", then click "Next step".
4. Under "Resources", just click "Next step". (Clicking one of the listed links will bring up a Help page page.)
5. Under "Contact options", choose to get a phone call or chat with the team, depending on availability in your country.
