Ozzy

Hi,

I have been having trouble being able to see the video history for my nest Hello doorbell and camera. I use the Nest app on iOS. I click on the history but it won’t play like it used too. Please help.

thanks!

I resubscribed to Nest Aware and can confirm that playback is working for me in the Nest App.  Thanks!

Which cameras are you having this issue with? Or is this just with the Nest App?

Best regards,

Brad.

I only have one camera currently and that is a Nest Doorbell with Software 4110054.  In the nest App, I see the playback thumbnail image and when I tap the video it doesn’t playback.  Also in the browser I don’t see any videos to playback.  There is only the live feed.

Which Nest Doorbell do you have? The original Wired Nest Hello Doorbell, or the 2021 Nest Hello Doorbell (battery)? New 2021 doorbell is not available on an web app version as it is not available in the Nest App, only the Google Home app. Also, do you have an active Nest Aware subscription? It sounds like you may not have it if you cannot view and save clips from the footage taken.

Best regards,

Brad.

I have the original wired doorbell camera.  I cancelled my subscription after I could not longer playback videos on the nest app.  If playback is expected to work on the browser  I may consider subscribing again.

I would suggest that you restart your Nest Hello doorbell using the pin hole on the back of it. And then make sure that your Nest App is updated and fully up to date, restart your wifi if that does't work and try again. But you cannot view your video playback after the 3 hour period of the event unless you have an active Nest Aware subscription. Here is a great link on how Nest Aware works and how to subscribe, and here is a link on how to manage your subscription.

Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Best Regards,

Brad.
