Hi,
I have replaced the batteries to the Nest protect a couple of days back and the box reports now the batteries are very Low.
This stared happening more frequent in the last couple of months.
Is there "some software" running in the background that drains the batteries and I can turn it off?
Thank U,
Ionut

Are you using the required Energizer Ultimate Lithium AA (L91) batteries? Approximately how often would you say you're having to replace them?

Hi,
The last ones were the below ones... they lasted for ~6days 😞

For total clarity, you must use Energizer Ultimate Lithium AA (L91) batteries. Using other types of batteries than the ones recommended will be detrimental to the smoke and CO alarm operation and is not supported by Google.

Is this the battery for the small detectors on the doors? These are not the ones listed in the manual
