After power outage, 3 nest protects reconnect. One does not. The one that doesn't reconnect is high up on a cathedral ceiling that I can't reach.

Hiya!
If one of your nests protects isn't working after a power outage it could be due a connection issue or a possible power issue. I appreciate you can't reach the one you mentioned due to being installed high. I would highly recommend testing the smoke detector to see if it's working, if you have a can of smoke, or a high enough broom/object to reach the detector, can you try to set the thing off by:
- Using a can of smoke to see if nest protect goes off/ responds to smoke
- Using a broom to press the base button on the nest protect to test it.
This may be able to identify any potential power issues and also ensures the nest protect is powered on.
If you set previous settings on the detector such as maybe a night sensor/light to see if it lights up when you walk by it.
If all hope fails do check:
Keeps up dated, and feel free to share more information as that would help us as well solve the issue,
