Nest Protects dropped out

This is bloody ridiculous!  When I had my Apple AirPort Extreme 802.11ac bridged to my Xfinity gateway, the two Nest Protects worked fine on my WiFi network.  But when I unbridged and went with the router within the Xfinity gateway, on the Nest Learning remained, the two Protects having dropped off.  I have tried numerous times and methods to connect them without success.  And in the last week have even upgraded my iPhone to 14 Pro Max!  And today, gone to an Xfinity XB-7 gateway which is WiFi 6.  Anyone know what could be wrong?

Hey Zopkios,

I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with this. No worries, we'll check this out. Could you tell us the type of Nest Protect you have? What message are you getting? Can the device find or detect other networks? Also, how far are your Nest Protect devices from your Wi-Fi router?

Looking forward to your response.

Thanks,
Archie
