I have tried restarting my router and modem, putting the protect next to the router and modem, canceling the protect and restarting my device, yet I still get a P009 error. I have Nest WiFi system as well. This should not be this difficult. Please help!

Hi @Jojomani
I've also seen an uptick in community members posting about that error code. I'll escalate over to our support team and see if they can help.
Here is the Nest Help Guide for that error: Troubleshoot a P002, P008, P009, P013, or P018 Nest Protect message - Google Nest Help

Hi there,
Thanks for reaching out and for being a step ahead of us. To isolate it further, could you please try creating a new home structure to see if your Nest Protect is going to connect there? Keep me posted.
I appreciate your help, @JillG.
Best,
Jenelyn

I actually did what others suggested and created a new account and added the protects first. It worked.

Google still needs to fix the issue. I haven't added my doorbell yet, but a customer should not have to go through all of this. It literally took hours for me to find this thread.
