Protect Not Testking On iPhone but does on iPad

For the past month or so, I have not been able to do a test on my Nest Protect from my iPhone but the test does work from my iPad. When I try to do the test on the phone, it says that Bluetooth is turned off. Going into settings, it is turned on. Prior to the month plus, I'm pretty certain that I could do the test from both devices.

Any chance your iphone updated recently? Any other bluetooth devices give you issues?

I have a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra (android) and Samsung's way of handling bluetooth has prevented me from setting up other brands of IoT devices. I've had to do the initial setup on my tablet's more basic bluetooth.

Disclaimer: This is with non-nest devices. I haven't been able to use the Nest app properly with my detectors for years and if Google refuses to continue development, I'm not wasting any more troubleshooting time on getting my app working. I'm just waiting for end-of-life so I can replace them.

DanCoco, both Apple devices are running the current iOS, 18.2. All of my other Bluetooth devices are connecting properly.
