changed WIFI name and can't connect

I had to change the name of WiFi and now the Nest Protect will not connect to new router.  I have deleted the device from my app, reset the Nest Protect till I hear version name and wait the 5 seconds and it says ready.  however, when I try to add device to ap it doesn't seem to find it.  and gives different error messages.

Your Protect isn't finding your Wi-Fi network, correct? Try these steps:
