no protects connecting

Seems like others are also having this issue. I changed my router and relabeled my network. I get to the part where it says assisting from another nest device and it never finds a device. Nothing I can do work. I have multiple nest protects that will not connect. Please don't post a link to the health page whereas it is no help. Does anyone know if this is a firmware issue? Has anyone been able to overcome this?

Ok solved.

First remove every protect from your account.

Next gather all your protects and put em on a table and Factory reset all of them.

Next uninstall the app from your phone.

Power cycle your phone .

Reinstall Nest app and log in

Next add one protect through the nest app but DO NOT MOVE IT TO THE ROOM!

Next add a second then third then however many but whatever one you are adding find the one that's assisting (blue ring) and hold it right next to it.

Finally install them where you want.

Boom done
