I'm curious for the current status of the 1.3-10 update that contains Matter support. One of my thermostats has the update, but the other doesn't. They're both the same model. Is there a place where we can see the progress of the rollout or when it's complete, so I can know if I'm being impatient or if there's an issue updating? Thanks!

Same here, the Google Nest Thermostat at my work has had version 1.3-10 for almost a month and my Google Nest thermostat at my home is stuck on version 1.1-11, does anyone know how to force the thermostat to the newest version?

Any insights? Here’s some screenshots demonstrating the issue.

Here's a couple more screenshots that demonstrate the issue while I wait for an answer.

Okay, I guess the update is still rolling out, because today I noticed it was updated.
I’m a bit disappointed that there wasn’t any help or assistance from anyone, especially Google. They were quick to respond and lock my last thread about camera condensation, but they ghosted me on this one. Oh well. Would still be nice to get a status for others still on the old version.

Well, I received the update yesterday 1.3-10.
Must be a slow rollout.

I’m having the exact same issue. I have two nest thermostats in my house. One of them has the latest firmware and the other one is stuck on the old version. What’s annoying is that when I try and manually run a firmware update the device incorrectly tells me “up-to-date“. It is clearly not up-to-date.

I'm also experiencing this issue. Two identical Nests in my home. One is up to date and the other isn't... pretty annoying that it seems like I just have to wait an unknown amount of time for the other to receive the update. Sure would be nice if I could manually update the one that is still on 1.1

Same here. First one updated 3 weeks ago, the second one remains at 1.1. For a company this size and being hi tech, the process is poor. A very simple communication like ‘ being rolled out…update in xxx days’ will prevent much frustration. A simple thing like this can’t even be done with common sense. How the so called AI will replace humanity? Like the once doomsday Y2K, I guess!!

Ha! Right after I posted this, Nest updated itself to 1.3. A lottery ticket is next..,

Hello everyone,
Thanks for reaching out to the Google Nest Community Forum.
We don't have any details on when a specific thermostat should receive the next firmware update. Your Nest Thermostat will automatically receive over-the-air updates about any software and hardware-related fixes or firmware updates as long as it's constantly powered on and connected to the Wi-Fi network.
Let us know if you have more questions.
Regards,
Mark

Will you be sharing when the rollout is generally available to all supported thermostats? Otherwise, the ambiguity will only confuse anxious users.

Hi folks,
I'm sorry for the late response. I understand that you're all excited about the update for Matter support. We don't have anything specific, but your Nest Thermostats should already have received the updates.
I wanted to ensure that everything was covered here. Could you please check your thermostat Software versions?
Best,
Mark

This was all that was needed. Just knowing that the phased rollout was over and that it's already available for all supported thermostats. Thank you for confirming this.
