+2 hour delay when turning heating on manually

Hi

Whilst the weather has been so mild, my temperature schedule is set to 19 degrees so has not kicked in automatically yet.  However, if I wish to turn the heating up manually, outside of the scheduled times, say from 19 degrees to 21 degress the thermostat tells me it's going to take + 2 hours for the radiators to heat up - and true enough the radiators don't even start to get hot until 2 hours has passed.  It never used to do this, if I needed to increase the temperature it would normally kick in straight away, does anyone know why this is happening??

Many thanks

Hi folks,

I'm sorry for the trouble this may have caused everyone. Let's see what's going on.

It appears that you're experiencing power issues with your Nest thermostat. To isolate, does your thermostat have a C wire? Also, could you please tell us the power status under the technical info settings on the thermostat?

You might have to check this article on how common or C wire works with Nest thermostats and let us know if you need more help.

Best regards,

Mark

Hi Mark

Tech info:

Battery 3.922v

VUSB 5.07v

Vin 0.00v

Zin 200mA (c)

I don't know if a C wire has been fitted? Is there a way I can check?

Many thanks for your response it's greatly appreciated.
