Morning Jake,
I have had no contact with the higher team regarding the W5 issue with my nest thermostat and it's been 2 weeks since our last contact.
Please advise.

  • What type of Nest Thermostat do you have?
  • Where are you located?
  • What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

Could you lookup the thread trail started 9/12/2022. All the details are in locked in this thread from "Jake and Dmcguire"

To answer your question the nest thermostat is a gen 3 bought from amazon in Dec 2021 (purchased 2 units)

I am located in Canada

I have followed all the troubleshooting suggestions and found I have the W5 error. Warranty replacement is needed. All the back and forth details are in the lock thread.

My last Community Specialist Jake, forwarded the thread details to a higher team 2+ week ago.
