2nd Gen nest issues

I have a 2nd Gen nest and have tried to wire it to my new apartment. The new apartment is a 5 wire setup YGWRC wires. As soon as I hook up the wire fan wire the the fans run non stop until I disconnect the wire. Is there a way around this?
