4th Gen Nest Thermostat Farsight

I just replaced a second generation with the new 4th generation thermostat. I saw that they are offering new farsight displays, but I do not seem to have access to them. Everything is up to date, so I am confused. I only seem to have access to the original four, which are the analog clock, digital clock, temperature, or weather. The new display options are seasonal, minimalist, classic nest, or temperature controller faces. Does anybody have any ideas on how to get these new faces?

Strangely enough my upstairs 4th generation nest has farsight options with seasonal pictures but my downstairs fourth generation nest thermostat does not. Go figure. 🤷

I have the reverse going on downstairs updated and upstairs no update.

Ha! I’m the same; upstairs has the update & downstairs does not! So weird the units in the same home don’t get updates at the same time. There should be a way to actively perform the update, like phones have done for years! Sigh. 😣

The 4th Gen Nest Thermostat with Farsight is amazing! It lights up beautifully when you walk by and shows temperature clearly. Super stylish and smart!

I am not able to see optional displays either. Not sure why not. Please advise if you are able figure out

Very annoyed to see articles touting seasonal art and they are not available. Everything is up to date.

Came here to post about where the heck I can find them.. I've been running check for update on the thermostat obsessively.. I see articles all over the place saying they are already there... Ugh

I still cannot see them..can you confirm what version your thermostat is?  Mines still on 2.1-25..  you should see 2.3 if I'm correct.

Last week I chatted with google customer support, and after getting the run-around with generic statements, they finally told me to expect the software rollout to take up to another week or so. I believe he noted Nov. 4 as the target date to be rolled out to all devices. I guess we'll all just have to keep checking daily! 😕

They were supposed to rollout Gemini to displays tomorrow. So could be the day 🙂

The software update just hit my device within the last hour. Hope everyone sees it soon! Lol.

Once the update is complete on your Nest device, you should see the new seasonal face options in your Google Home app under the device's Settings --> Farsight.
