I have been through several different threads and a lot of people have similar 7 wire situations to me, just not exactly the same wire letters. I was wondering if there was a way to wire the nest into this configuration? This is a brand new house and AC unit. I was leaning towards it being possible, but not sure how to do it. Any help would be great.
My unit is currently plugged into: (R,G,Y,C,O,B,W/E) and there is a couple of jump wires.
R - Red wire
G - Green Wire
Y - Yellow Wire
C - Brown Wire
O - Orange Wire
B - Blue Wire
W/E - White Wire

I ended up getting the AC company that installed my ac system to come out and set it up for me. Thank you for the reply, but to partially answer my own question for others looking. My ac guy said the unit had two ways to turn on the heat pump, so he used one of the heat pump wires and it worked fine. The nest is installed and working as it should. Again, thanks for the help!

Hi Lewis192,
Thanks for reaching out. In some cases the B wire is the common wire but I want to make sure I provide the correct wiring. Could you share the make and model of your current thermostat?
Thanks,
Edward

Hey there,
Got it — glad to hear that you've sorted it out with the help of an AC technician. Thanks as well for sharing what was done to have it resolved.
Cheers,
Melba
