This first photo is how my Trane TCONT402AN32DAA was wired:
this second photo is a screenshot of the wiring diagram from the manual:
and this third photo is how I have my Nest currently connected:
i installed the thermostat last week and turned the AC on for the first time last night. The HVAC blew hot air all night and it ended up hotter in the morning than it was before I went to bed.
Last night, the orange wire (now disconnected) was connected to OB*. This morning I flipped the breaker, unplugged the orange wire, but nothing changed, when I turned my system back on.
I am open to ANY suggestions to get this working and get my infant comfortable

Your wiring of the Google Nest Thermostat looked correct.
Do a reset to factory defaults and set it up again.
Use this wiring,
Red - R to R
White - W1 to W (jumper to W2 not needed)
Yellow - Y1 to Y
Green - G to G
Orange - O to */OB
Blue - B to C
When asked by the Google Home app to select the wires that you have, select these,
R, W/W1, Y/Y1, G/G1, O, C
