AC not cooling

AC is no longer working. It hasn’t reached the target temperature of 72 since 2 days ago, even though it says it will reach it in 2 hours. Temperature is now at 84. First time having this issue. Need help please

Is your AC actually working?  Are both the inside furnace fan and the outside compressor running?  I had a fuse go out on my compressor and didn't realize it at first.  The air was blowing out of the vents at the same temperature as the air going into the return duct.  That was when I realized that my compressor wasn't working.  I checked 20+ year old fuses and found a bad one.  

If both the compressor and the furnace fan are working, it's still probably your AC.  The first thing I would check is the air temp coming out of the vent and the air temp going into the return.  If the difference is about 30 degrees, then your AC is working.  If not, I would call a HVAC company for help.

I found that the solution my Installer gave me worked after I did one additional thing.  I saw a post that had a solution similar to what my Tech said. Tech told me to turn nest off from the app or the wall then turn back on but put in echo mode. The first times it did nothing until I read a post here that said the same thing but also put Eco mode low as possible. I lowered echo to 70-76 and the system is working great since then!
