AC stop cooling

Installed Nest thermostat with new AC system.  It worked fine.  Now we are getting a code : E73

could someone explain what this code means.  Thank you

Also, how do I reset the thermostat

@jean54 , The E73 error is reported as no power received on the Rc wire.  You’ll see this error if you’ve installed an Rc wire and The Nest Thermostat isn’t electrically detecting it any power on it.  Check the fuse/circuit breaker on your Air Handler.

Thanks for posting here in the Community forum, and I'm sorry to hear about the situation. Let's sort this out. 

 

Have you already made sure that the breakers are on? Also, can you help me with your Nest Learning Thermostat's power reading?

 

  1. To open the Quick View menu, press the thermostat’s ring.
  2. Choose Settings.
  3. Turn the ring to highlight Technical Info then press the ring to select it.
  4. Select Power.
    • Battey
    • VOC
    • VIN 
    • IIN
