To clarify my AC and heat are a heat pump system with six wires, I'm posting the original set up and the current setup.  Am I wired correctly and is this set up correctly?

Hi imhotep1,

Thanks for posting and sorry to hear about this situation with the cooling in your house. No worries, help is here! Since you have a heat pump, try changing the O/B wire settings. Here are the steps:

Nest Thermostat

  1. Open the Home app Google Home app.
  2. Tap your thermostat.
  3. At the top right, tap Settings .
  4. Select Thermostat.
  5. Scroll until you find Heat pump. It should show which wire configuration is currently selected.
  6. If the O option is highlighted, select B.
  7. If the B option is highlighted, select O.
  8. To make sure the issue is resolved, test your heating and cooling again.

For additional troubleshooting steps, you can refer to this article Troubleshoot heat pump issues.

Let me know how that works.

Regards,

Axel.
