Ac cannot be controlled by home app

Suddenly, unable to turn on or off or change the temperature via the home app. Have reset the device and removed from home app and reconnected and added the device back with success but same issue persists. Same issue for all thermostats. Issue has arose after home app has gone through updates. Wife's home app on ios also same issue.any ideas?

4. Approximately 1 week ago.

5. No errors.

Update: we are now able to change the temp via the app (suddenly worked, no action taken). Only turning on and off via the app does not work.

I'm curious to know which iOS version your wife's phone is currently running. Also, are all your thermostats controlled through the Home app, or do you use the Nest app for some of them as well?

When you mentioned that the thermostat can't change the temperature mode between cooling and off, did you mean that the option to change the mode is unavailable in the app, or that the mode doesn't change on the thermostat itself when you adjust it in the app? Does this occur with all your thermostats?
