Adding a user that has full ability to change settings

My wife manages the google nest account and has the ability to change any and all settings. She added me to the home but I do not have the ability to change settings. I show up under "HOME" and it gives me the temp outside, but shows nothing for the inside.  What can wee do so that either/ both of us has the abilty to change settings on our nest thermostat?

Hi @BillMadl

You are going to want to open up the Google Home app and then click on settings. Then click on household and your account as well as your wife’s should be linked to that home. If you click on the account from there, you then want to make it “manager”.  Hope this helps!

This didn't work as my wife gave me an "invite" but that didn't work as it said" unable to send invite, try again later".

So waiting for a possible solution still to add myself as a full user with ability to use my NEST settings, this when my wife is the ONLY user who can do that now.

Hi everyone,

Just one quick final check in here since activity has slowed down. We'll be locking the thread in the next 24 hours, but if you still need help, I would be happy to keep it open. If there's more we can do, just let me know.

Thanks,
