After connecting my nest thermostat no place for the emergencyheat wire to go ,

The unit ran in cooling mode and the inside coil froze up . And tried to run in her mode but didn’t seem to be working.

The newish Google Nest Thermostat isn't compatible with Emergency heat if you already have AUX heat.

Post a picture of the original Thermostat's wiring and I'll take a look.
