Another W5 connection error

DavidSteven
Community Member

Nest was working fine last winter but now showing a W5 error even after a reset. Running software version 5.9.4-5 but won't update because no wifi. Does not pick up a network when scanning. I read somewhere this is terminal and requires a replacement. Can someone let me know if that's true - and if so how to get one? I am in Italy.

Yes that is correct.

99% of the time W5 is a fried wifi chip, give Nest a call.
