Installing a new Nest thermostat and the furnace/AC will not respond. My old thermostat had a blue wire connected to the Y terminal and the red wire connected to to the RC with a jumper to the RH. My understanding is the jumper is not necessary with the Nest. My questions are 1) the Red should go to the RC on the Nest and 2) the blue should go to the Y1, correct?
This is how I wired it and the AC will not engage. Thanks for your help.
