Good day, the Nest app and the Google home show my thermostat heating (red) all the time, even if the temperature does not require it. Nor is the heat on. But when I manually turn the heat on the furnace activates it works normally. I’ve have the unit work perfectly for years, it’s just a few days ago the app looks like like it’s heating when it’s not (nor needed).
Was there an app update that didn’t work?
I have screen shot is needed to clarify.
any input appreciated

Hi folks,
@aMacpg, thanks for the update. I'd be happy to take a look at this for you.
The Nest Thermostat, Google Home app, Nest app, and your phone software should be updated to keep them synced.
If you’re using an iPhone, check for and install software updates.
If you are using an Android device,
To update the Nest Learning Thermostat
For the Nest app and Google Home app, the best way to make sure both applications are up-to-date is to uninstall and reinstall them on your phone. As long as you use the same credentials, all the information, including schedules, will remain.
Thanks for the help here, Zoe.
Cheers,
Renz
