Apple Home Kit

Has anybody been able to connect Nest 2020 to Apple Home kit?  I am still waiting for update to device.

The Google Nest thermostats are not Apple Home Kit compatible for home automation. You might need a third-party smart device in order to link two systems. Our team is working non-stop with different partners to bring the best features to the Google Nest devices. So please let our product team know about it by sending feedback.

I read that google 2020 will have an update so it can work with Apple home kit.  That is what I thought matter is for.

We're glad to hear you're interested in the home automation of Google Nest Thermostat 2020 with Apple HomeKit! We don't have anything else to share right now, but stay tuned for more news and updates. Currently, the best option is to set up your Nest Thermostat 2020 via Google Home app where you can control and adjust it remotely.
