Auto toggling between heater & AC systems

Our nest resides in our home in the US and we are currently vacationing in Europe. When i set temp through Alexa to, say, 70 degrees F will nest automatically switch from the heater / heating system to our AC / cooling system as a function of the ambient temp in our house? If not, how do I enable this remotely in iOS?

Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your inquiry.

When your Nest Thermostat is set to Heat/Cool Mode, which can automatically switch between heating and cooling as needed, Alexa manages it in a slightly different way. For instance, your thermostat's lower and higher settings should be set to the 68–75 degree range if you ask Alexa to adjust the temperature to 72 degrees.
