Hello,
I know there are many posts on this topic, but I still need some help!
Devices: iPhone 12, latest OS
Nest 3rd Gen (maybe), latest OS
Apps: Google Home and Nest
Configuration: Location settings on for Google Home and Nest, set to Always. Background refresh on for both. Presence sensing set up in "both" apps. This means that Google Home and Nest are both set to use the Nest for presence sensing. Google Home is the only one using my iPhone location (both apps cannot use it).
The problem I am having is that the Google Home app stopped running the Away/Home routines as of 8/13.
If I look in my Google Home history, I can clearly see that it detects when I am home (via phone location or Nest sensors). However it stops there. The mode is never changed to away/home. This changed after 8/13.
I've made no changes to configuration, etc.
Any idea?

Thanks for the feedback.... I found that the problem appear to be resolved by disabling the use of nest/google devices to determine if I was home. Maybe my next always thought I was home....
Disabled that function and when my phone leaves the area, the Away mode is activated and the Away route starts.
