Hi everyone. I love my nest thermostat and it runs great on the schedule that I have set. However, on those colder days when I want a bit more heat, I turn the thermostat dial to override the schedule. But when I do this, the boiler never switches off. At the next schedule point the thermostat display will change from orange to grey (as expected) BUT the boiler doesn't switch off and the only way to turn it off is to do a hard reset by turning it off at the wall. Has anyone else come across this? It's like when I override the thermostat, the thermostat stops talking to the receiver which in turn fails to tell the boiler to turn off and get back on schedule.
Any help greatly appreciated 👍

Hi Shuttdave,
Thanks for reaching out and for being a step ahead of us. I'm sorry for the trouble this may have caused you. I'd like to know more about it. A few questions: what type of Nest Thermostat do you have? In what country are you located? Do you see any messages or codes on your thermostat or in the app? Checking your thermostat's Energy History will tell you what your thermostat was doing previously. Also, gather and share with us your thermostat's power reading.
