Heat link stopped working, no electrical feed to thermostat. Have pressed buttons, turned on and off again, nothing, not even LED. Still under warranty, Google useless and impossible to get hold of.

We have two young children and it seemed the Heat Link was fried - so we just bought a new one. I would like to claim on the warranty though, does anybody have a contact number?

Many thanks,

Hello again. Just checking in. How's it going with your Heat Link?

Still very much broken. Had to invest in a new one and get it swapped out as two young children in a freezing house with no central heating not an option. Google impossible to get hold of. Any advice on how I can get the original unit refunded?

Hey @Richandmaria. You can ask the retailer for a refund. I could also put in a replacement request for you if you can confirm that the troubleshooting steps have been performed. Here are the steps:

Press the button on the Heat Link and check if you have any lights on it
Check if the circuit breakers and the switches are set to on
Turn them off and then back on
Press on the button again and check for LEDs

Hi Cristian,

Yes we tried everything. No luck with the retailer so could we please put in a replacement request? Thank you

Sure thing. Please let me know if you tried the steps I posted above and then send me a reply to these questions:

How long has your thermostat been installed for?
Did the issue happen during the installation?
Is there any error on the Nest thermostat display?
Have you had any power cuts recently?
Have you had any work done on your electrical or heating systems recently?
If yes, was the power properly restored at the fuse board after work was done?
How many zones ( thermostats ) are present in the setup?
