Broken Thermostat and Broken Warranty Page ("please escalate the issue")

I am trying to file a warranty claim for a defective Nest thermostat and the warranty page also appears to be defective. Who was the brilliant product team that asked the user to escalate the issue with no instructions for how to escalate the issue?

Could you provide more details about why you're opting to have your thermostat replaced? What specific type of Nest Thermostat is this? Also, could you provide a rundown of all the steps you've tried?
