C wire not detected

Second time I have tried to install this nest thermostat. Wires are good, thermostat is compatible with existing system, and connected correctly. Each time I get the message c wire not detected. Suggestions?

To narrow down: 

• Could you give us a photo of your old and current thermostat wiring?
• Do you see any messages or code on the Nest Thermostat?
• Please check the power read out of your thermostat: For Nest Learning Thermostat and Nest Thermostat E, go to the settings, technical info then power. For Nest Thermostat 2020, go to the settings, equipment then select power info.
