Going crazy and can’t connect thermostat.

Firstly, what model of thermostat is it that you have? I see you select the learning thermostat, but want to make sure as the setup steps are very different.

You can visit the link provided above to check what type of thermostat you have. Also, do you see any messages or code on your thermostat or in the app?

How can I get help? Nest said I had to be online to lock, it locked anyways. Not on app. No internet service and a forgotten pin.

@leb, thanks for posting on this thread. To clarify, the reason you can't reconnect your thermostat in the Nest app is because of the forgotten PIN code. Is that right? If so, please pull the thermostat display from its base and connect a USB cord to your computer. Then, look for the folder named TechnicalInfo.PLIST."

If the file is visible, let us know what personal computer you're using (Windows, macOS, or ChromeOS) so we can move with the next step.
