Can Nest thermostat work with zones for a floor heating system which only had 2-wire config

While replacing my old water heater for floor heating, I replaced all the old 2-wire thermostat with  Nest Thermostat but I had different zones in my house.   Upon installation, it prompted N260 error message and the batter went flat after a month.  Google suggested that I purchase the power connectors, one for each thermostat, but how to wire the system?  and does the Nest thermostat can apply in zones?

Yes they can.  Best solution is if you have an unused T stat wire going to your location.  The T stat C terminal needs to be a wire to the 24 volt transformer, the same wire as which goes to your zone valve
