Sorry to hear you're having connectivity issues! I can understand the frustration behind a lost device. Let's see what's going on here.
While we do have a troubleshooter if your Nest device is offline, your device might need a restart to refresh the network change. Here is a guide to restarting/factory resetting your device. Please try restarting your device for me and see if that helps reconnect the device. If it doesn't, please try removing your device from Google Home, factory resetting, and reinstalling your device.

Thermostat works manually but can’t get app to work. Same as comment above. Thermostat dial says connected to account but no option on iPhone app to see or change temperature. Doesn’t seem like a connectivity issue….
