Charging battery

defunk
Community Member

Thermostat went blank after a couple days of error code e195.

I'm thinking the battery needs charging. How do you do that?

Hi defunk,

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry for the delay. Based on the code, you have the Nest Thermostat E. To charge it, please pull the display from its base then charge it using a micro USB cable for at least an hour. You can see its charging port at the back of it. The green blinking light will be your indicator that your thermostat is charging. You can visit this support article for your reference.

Best,

Jenelyn

Hi there,

I don't want to be a nudge, but I'd like to check if you were able to charge your Nest Thermostat. Please let me know how it goes.

Thanks,

Jenelyn
