Compatibility American Standard Thermostat

I’m looking to see if this wiring combo is compatible with a Nest Learning Thermostat.  Tried the install steps and it said not compatible or contact support - can someone help 

it’s regular gas furnace / hvac system.

Thanks for posting here in the Community forum and for showing interest with our Nest Thermostats. 

I checked your thermostat wires and found that this is compatible with our Nest Learning Thermostat 3rd generation. However, could you please verify if where are those black and orange wires connected on your current thermostat? Are they really connected to both AUX 1 terminal?

Yes both connected to aux1 on the old thermostat.

Thanks for confirming. Could you help me with a photo of your HVAC control board where the other end of the thermostat wires are connected?
