Compatibility

@msschmett , your system is fully compatible with the Nest Thermostat and the Nest Learning Thermostat.  Your wires in use are:

Red, Rc - 24VAC Power Input, the jumper wire between Rc and Rh will be discarded. 
Green, G - indoor Blower Fan Relay, activated to turn on the blower fan 

White, W - Heating Relay, activated to start heating cycle. 
Yellow, Y - Compressor Relay, activated to start the cooling cycle. 
Blue, C - This 24VAC Power Common

Depending on the kind of heating system you have, you have, in heating systems, the blower fan is controlled by the Integrated Furnace Controller board.  When cooling is activated, the thermostat will turn on the blower fan when it activates the Y wire.
