I reset the thermostat to correct WiFi disconnected problem. When it restarted, I was instructed to “Continue Setup in Google Home App.” However, when the app searches for my device, it fails.
I’ve verified my network is online and working, even restarted the modem/router, but to no avail.
Please help, the weather is getting hot and we need the thermostat to work!

Do you happen to have the new Nest Thermostat? If yes, did you reset the account's account connection or did you do a full factory reset? Also, have you tried force closing the relaunching the Google Home app before trying the setup again?
