Control temperature in several rooms

jsg81
Community Member

I have a Nest Learning Thermostat with a sensor installed in the living room. I understand that the thermostat will take into account the temperature in the living room to regulate the heating, but the rooms remain cold.

I want to add a new sensor in one of the rooms so that the Nest Learning Thermostat takes this temperature into account, what options do I have?

I live in Spain and have seen that the Nest temperature sensor is unavailable here.
What can I do?

Thanks in advance for your answers.

Hello jsg81,

I'm sorry for the delayed response, and thank you for taking the time to let us know about your inquiry.

Currently, Nest temperature sensors are yet to be supported in Spain. To confirm, where did you buy your Nest Learning Thermostat with Temperature Sensor? If you purchased it in one of the supported countries, it should work with another sensor. To learn more about how the Temperature Sensor works, please check out this article and let us know if you have any questions or concerns.

Best,

Mark

Hi @Markjosephp,

first of all, thank you for your reply.

I bought the thermostat on Amazon Spain 9 months ago. As the sensors are not yet supported in Spain, do I have other options?

Thank you very much again for your help.

Hi jsg81,

We would love to have full functionality anywhere in the world and hope to have a global release soon. For the moment, there are no other sensors that would be compatible with the Nest Thermostats in Spain. So please let our product team know about it by sending feedback, and stay tuned to the Google Nest Community Forum for updates.

Also, I will lock the thread shortly unless I can help out with anything else.

Regards,

Mark
