Cooling without WiFi

Leshook

We have sold our home and we moved out already and disconnected our wifi.  The new owners won’t be in for a few more weeks.  When I went back in the house was warm.  Is it sensing no one is there and how to I get to stay somewhat cool?

Hello @Leshook,

Thanks for reaching out to the Nest Community! I'm happy to assist you with your cooling needs.

If you have a Nest Learning Thermostat, it's possible that the system is detecting inactivity and switching to Eco Mode to conserve energy.

To prevent this behavior, you can disable the Eco Mode feature in your thermostat settings. This will allow you to maintain a constant temperature.

If you require specific temperature settings throughout the day, you can create a schedule. This will enable your thermostat to automatically adjust the temperature according to your preferences.

Please feel free to share more details about your specific situation, and I'll do my best to provide a tailored solution.

Best regards,
Douglas.
